Fondation GoodPlanet
GoodPlanet was created by Yann Arthus-Bertrand, renowned photojournalist, with the aim of raising public awareness on environmental issues and environmental protection. The GoodPlanet Foundation encourages a way of life that is more respectful of the Earth and its inhabitants. It suggests realistic and optimistic solutions, and encourages each individual to act for the planet through a series of programs “to bring ecology into people’s hearts and conscience”.
Its universal message invites each person to think about the planet’s evolution through 4 actions:
Raising awareness through images
Keeping people informed about environmental issues
Teaching people about sustainable development
Taking action for the climate and the respect of the Human being.
The Foundation’s Executive Director is Franco-American Henri Landes.
